The Journey
Ages Young Adult

The Bible is filled with people moving and progressing. We are all on a journey. Our goal is to see God. We want to experience the wonder of His presence and the awesome joy of knowing Him. God has a plan for each of us as we move through this life. He tells us in Hebrews 12:12-17 in The Message Translation of the Bible -
12-13 So don't sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long-distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!
14-17 Work at getting along with each other and with God. Otherwise you'll never get so much as a glimpse of God. Make sure no one gets left out of God's generosity. Keep a sharp eye out for weeds of bitter discontent. A thistle or two gone to seed can ruin a whole garden in no time. Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God's lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite. You well know how Esau later regretted that impulsive act and wanted God's blessing—but by then it was too late, tears or no tears.
First - We are all on this journey.
Second - We should all have the goal of seeing God.
Third - We have to keep the path clear.
Fourth - We have to look out for each other.
Journey is a class of young single and married adults who have decided to get to know God and help each other as we travel through this life. We believe that setting aside an hour on Sunday mornings to study God’s Word is pleasing to God and beneficial to our spiritual growth. We meet in a casual friendly atmosphere. You are welcome to bring your Bible, your laptop, an open mind to accept God’s plan for your life, and even your breakfast to the room at the top of the stairs on the left. We hope very much to see you there!
Until then, we pray Numbers 6:24-26
"The LORD bless you
and keep you;
The LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
The LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace."
